I know my problems are not unique.
I know this pain is not mine alone.
I know I'm not original or special because of what I feel
This tale has been told a thousand times at least.
A confused and broken heart
A need to heal.
Feeling so alone
As if nobody could possibly understand.
What makes your pain feel different?
Is it because nobody had exactly the same relationship as you?
Not everybody went on the same dates, or laughed at the same jokes.
You couldn't have shared the same memories as everybody else, right? That would be impossible.
But tell me this:
Have you ever gone out for Italian food?
Ever have a picnic together?
Eve
You're not the only one who's afraid to move forward.
You aren't the only one afraid of being hurt again.
You're not the only one who needs to step out of their
shell, filled with the plans and dreams of an old "what if"
life.
So take my hand and we can walk out together into the light
of the future.
Though bright and our vision blinded from an extended darkness,
our eyes will focus on what's ahead of us.
There will always be doubts. There will always be questions.
But I promise...
There will alway be my hand to hold.
There will always be my arms to embrace
There will always be my heart to love...

I feel so alone
so lost
so trapped.
I walk these lonely roads
without meaning
without purpose.
I have to ask myself,
"Why?
Why am I here?"
I feel so alone
so lost
so trapped.
On a plane of land
I see
cuts
they criss-cross
like so many roads
In a fit of rage,
it happens.
The blade is drawn,
the scars made,
the blood drawn.
No pain is felt,
no pain released.
Nothing
I see a fire
large and bright,
Burning down a town.
Its children,
Running to their moms,
For shelter.
People carry buckets,
Filled with water,
To calm the raging inferno
As some burn
Others are left unscathed.
As people die.
Others stand alone
I see a fire
large and bright
burning down a town.

Chapter one
I wake up at 5:00 am. Alarm blaring from across my room, I clumsily walk over and silence it. As thoughts race across my mind, I try to comprehend why it is that I must wake up so damned early. I turn on my lamp and wince immediately to the sudden change in lighting. Quickly I take out my outfit for the day and head to bathroom. I turn on the bathroom light, and turn on the shower. After I get undressed, I step into the shower. The warm water sprays against my bare back. I grab the soap and scrub away any filth from the previous day, leaving me smelling slightly like berrie
Chapter 2
I open my eyes in attempt to wake up. I notice that I am lying down on Omega's smaller couch. I also realize that I indeed HAVE gotten short, as I now almost completly fit the couch. ::Damn!:: I think as I look down towards the end of the couch. ::How did this happen to me?:: I look around and see that I am alone. I try to sit and and as I do a searing pain courses throughout my entire body, I suddenly remember the events that led to this moment. I try to figure out what was wrong with me, but as I do my memory becomes faint and I can't concentrate on any single thought. But why? Why did I jump infront of that bus? How did I get he

History:
Many moons ago, I had a weekly writing prompt my old website. It was more popular than I thought it would be, considering I had no idea if I even had an audience. I figured if no one else participated, I could, and in the year-plus time it was active, I wrote almost 30 stories, many of which have been posted here. I wanted to resurrect it the last time I was here before I bailed again so I'm doing it for real this time.
Now, I'm new at this, so bear with me while I get my bugs in a row.
How it works:
1. I will provide three sentence fragments.
2. You make a complete sentence out of them (choose one or all, it's up to you).
3. I
Note: I wrote this after reading a similar article in The Writer magazine about a year ago. Hope it's helpful!
Not all characters are created equal. Here are some steps to make yours superior.
1) Desire
Figure out what your character wants, needs, desires. A closer relationship with God? A place to belong? Just to survive? Figure it out. You cant move on to number 2 until you have.
2) Fear
Now that you know what your character most desires, you should be able to figure out what he/she most fears. Doing the wrong thing, being alone, death? They are the polar opposites of your characters desires.
3) History
